“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush

Envoys will come out of Egypt;
Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God.

So they pulled Jeremiah up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern, and Jeremiah stayed in the court of the guardhouse.

Now the word of the LORD had come to Jeremiah while he was confined in the court of the guardhouse, saying, "Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Behold, I am about to bring My words on this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day. "But I will deliver you on that day," declares the LORD, "and you will not be given into the hand of the men whom you dread. read more.
