Those whom I love, I rebuke and chasten. So be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'"


Give my greetings to the brethren at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house. When this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you read the letter from Laodicea.


I testify for him that he has worked hard for you and for those who are in Laodicea and Hierapolis.


For I want you to know how greatly I strive for you, and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not seen my face in the flesh,
