The allotment for the tribe of the descendants of Judah according to their families reached to the border of Edom, to the wilderness of Zin, {to the far south}.

because [of the fact] that you broke faith with me in the midst of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, [in] the desert of Zin, because {you did not treat me as holy} in the midst of the {Israelites}.

They set out from Ezion Geber and camped in the desert of Zin, that [is], Kadesh.

So they went up and explored the land from the desert of Zin until Rehob, at Lebo Hamath.

Your southern edge will be from the desert of Zin toward the side of Edom, and your southern border will be from the end of the Salt Sea to the east; your boundary will turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim and will pass over to Zin, and its limits will be from the south of Kadesh Barnea; it will continue to Hazar Addar and pass over to Azmon.
