Appeal For Unity

11 Wherefore, my dearly beloved brethren, my joy and my crown, whom I long to see, continue firm in your christian profession, my beloved.

11 Therefore, my beloved brethren whom I long to see, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.

11 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

11 So then, in this way, my dearly loved brothers, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.

11 Therefore, my dear brothers whom I long for, my joy and my victor's crown, this is how you must stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.

Exhortation, Encouragement, And Prayer

22 I conjure Euodias, and I conjure Syntyche to be perfectly united in the Lord.

22 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord.

22 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

22 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

22 I urge Euodia and Syntyche to have the same attitude in the Lord.

33 yea, I intreat thee too, my faithful collegue, to assist them both, for they assisted me in the gospel, as well as Clement, and my other collegues, whose names are in the book of life.

33 Indeed, true companion, I ask you also to help these women who have shared my struggle in the cause of the gospel, together with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

33 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

33 Yes, I also ask you, true partner, to help these women who have contended for the gospel at my side, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers whose names are in the book of life.

33 Yes, I also ask you, my true partner, to help these women. They have worked hard with me to advance the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

Be Anxious For Nothing

44 Rejoice in the Lord alway: I say it again, rejoice.

44 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

44 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

44 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

44 Keep on rejoicing in the Lord at all times. I will say it again: Keep on rejoicing!

55 let your meekness be known unto all men.

55 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.

55 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

55 Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

55 Let your gracious attitude be known to all people. The Lord is near:

66 the Lord is coming: be not in any manner of sollicitude, but in all your occasions lay your requests before God by prayer and supplication accompany'd by thanksgiving.

66 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

66 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

66 Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

66 Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving.

77 and the favour of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall keep your hearts and mind attach'd to Jesus Christ.

77 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

77 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

77 And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

77 Then God's peace, which goes far beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your hearts and minds in union with the Messiah Jesus.

88 Finally, my brethren, whatever has the character of truth, of dignity, of justice, of chastity, whatever can procure you esteem and reputation, in a word, if there be any thing virtuous or praise-worthy, let that be the object of your enquiry.

88 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

88 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

88 Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable-if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise-dwell on these things.

88 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy keep thinking about these things.

99 practise what I have taught, what you have learnt of me, what you have heard me preach, and seen me practise. this do, and the God of peace will then be with you.

99 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

99 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

99 Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

99 Likewise, keep practicing these things: what you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Support For Paul's Ministry

1010 Now I joyfully thank the Lord, that your concern for me has at length reviv'd. not that you wanted the disposition, but only the opportunity.

1010 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.

1010 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

1010 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last you have renewed your care for me. You were, in fact, concerned about me, but lacked the opportunity [to show it].

1010 Now I rejoice in the Lord greatly, because once again you have shown your concern for me. Of course, you were concerned for me but you did not have an opportunity to show it.

1111 it is not my indigence that makes me say this: for I have learn'd, in whatevever state I am, therewith to be content: I know how to be in want,

1111 Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.

1111 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

1111 I don't say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.

1111 I am not saying this because I am in any need, for I have learned to be content in whatever situation I am in.

1212 I know how to abound: every where, and in every circumstance, I have been prepar'd for fulness or famine, for plenty or penury:

1212 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.

1212 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

1212 I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret [of being content]-whether well-fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need.

1212 I know how to be humble, and I know how to prosper. In each and every situation I have learned the secret of being full and of going hungry, of having too much and of having too little.

1313 to these things I am equal, thro' Christ who strengthens me.

1313 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

1313 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

1313 I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

1313 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

1414 however, you acted generously in assisting me in my necessity:

1414 Nevertheless, you have done well to share with me in my affliction.

1414 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

1414 Still, you did well by sharing with me in my hardship.

1414 Nevertheless, it was kind of you to share my troubles.

1515 and you yourselves know, O Philippians, that when I first preach'd the gospel, at my departure from Macedonia, I receiv'd no manner of assistance from any other church but yours;

1515 You yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone;

1515 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

1515 And you, Philippians, know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

1515 You Philippians also know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church participated with me in the matter of giving and receiving except for you.

1616 for you sent more than once to Thessalonica to supply my occasions.

1616 for even in Thessalonica you sent a gift more than once for my needs.

1616 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

1616 For even in Thessalonica you sent [gifts] for my need several times.

1616 Even while I was in Thessalonica, you provided for my needs not once, but twice.

1717 not that I desire a present; but what I desire is, that the fruits of your liberality may greatly redound to your own account.

1717 Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

1717 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

1717 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that is increasing to your account.

1717 It is not that I am looking for a gift. No, I want to see that you receive the fruit that increases to your benefit.

1818 I have now receiv'd the whole, and have more than sufficient: I am loaded with the presents you sent by Epaphroditus, which I have receiv'd as grateful incense, as a sacrifice which God accepts and approves.

1818 But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

1818 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

1818 But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided-a fragrant offering, a welcome sacrifice, pleasing to God.

1818 I have been paid in full and have more than enough. I am fully supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus what you sent a fragrant aroma, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.

1919 for which may my God crown all your desires with glory by Christ Jesus.

1919 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

1919 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1919 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

1919 And my God will fully supply your every need according to his glorious riches in the Messiah Jesus.

2020 to God our father be glory for ever. amen.

2020 Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

2020 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2020 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

2020 Glory belongs to our God and Father forever and ever! Amen.
