Israel's Complaint

⁹ In anger Thou hast cast off and causest us to blush, And goest not forth with our hosts. ¹⁰ Thou causest us to turn backward from an adversary, And those hating us, Have spoiled for themselves. ¹¹ Thou makest us food like sheep, And among nations Thou hast scattered us.

and I have set My face against you, and ye have been smitten before your enemies; and those hating you have ruled over you, and ye have fled, and there is none pursuing you.

Joshua 7:8

Oh, Lord, what do I say, after that Israel hath turned the neck before its enemies?
