3 How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, - Like a wall that bulgeth, - a fence pushed in!

3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

3 How long will you assail a man,That you may murder him, all of you,Like a (E)leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

3 How long will you threaten a man?Will all of you attack(a)as if he were a leaning wallor a tottering stone fence?(E)

3 How long will you rage against someone? Would you attack him as if he were a leaning wall or a tottering fence?

4 Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, - With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. Selah.

4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

4 They have counseled only to thrust him down from his high position;They (F)delight in falsehood;They (G)bless with (b)their mouth,But inwardly they curse. (c)Selah.

9 Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, - In the balances, they go up, They, are made of vanity, altogether.

9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

9 Men of (N)low degree are only (O)vanity and men of rank are a (P)lie;In the (Q)balances they go up;They are together lighter than breath.

9 Men are only a vapor;exalted men, an illusion.Weighed in the scales, they go up;together they are less than a vapor.(L)

9 Human beings are a mere vapor, while people in high positions are not what they appear. When they are placed on the scales, they weigh nothing; even when weighed together, they are less than nothing.

10 Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set thereon your heart.

10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

10 (R)Do not trust in oppressionAnd do not (d)vainly hope in (S)robbery;If riches increase, (T)do not set your heart upon them.

10 Place no trust in oppression,or false hope in robbery.If wealth increases,pay no attention to it.(b)(M)

10 Don't trust in oppression or put false hope in stealing; if you become wealthy, do not set your heart on it.

11 One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, there are which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;

11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

11 (e)Once God has (U)spoken;(f)Twice I have heard this:That (V)power belongs to God;

11 God has spoken once;I have heard this twice:strength belongs to God,(N)

11 God spoke once, but I heard it twice, "Power belongs to God."

12 And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, - For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man - according to his deed.

12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

12 And lovingkindness (W)is Yours, O Lord,For You (X)recompense a man according to his work.

12 and faithful love belongs to You, Lord.For You repay each according to his works.(O)

12 Also to you, Lord, belongs gracious love, because you reward each person according to what he does. A Davidic Psalm, while he was in the Judean wilderness.
