Praise God Who Satisfies
1 O God, my GOD, thou art, Earnestly do I desire thee, - My soul thirsteth for thee, My flesh fainteth for thee, In a land - dry, and weary for want of water, -
1 {A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.} O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

1 God, you are my God! I will fervently seek you. My soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry, weary, and parched land.
5 Should I call thee to mind upon my conch, In the watches of the night, would I breathe soft speech of thee.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

5 Just as I am satisfied with the choicest of foods, so my lips will praise you joyfully.
10 But, the king, shall rejoice in God, - Every one shall glory who sweareth by him, For the mouth of them who speak falsehood, shall be stopped.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

10 May they be given over to the power of the sword; may they become carrion for jackals.
