1 {To the Chanter, for Jeduthun, a Psalm of Asaph} I cried unto God with my voice; yea, even unto God cried I with my voice, and he heard me.

1 I cry out to God! I cry out to God and he hears me.

2 In the time of my trouble I sought the LORD, I held up mine hands to him in the night season, for my soul refused all other comfort.

2 In the (B)day of my trouble I sought the Lord;(C)In the night my (D)hand was stretched out (b)without weariness;My soul (E)refused to be comforted.

2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; my hands were raised at night and they did not grow weary. I refused to be comforted.

3 When I was in heaviness, I thought upon God: when my heart was vexed, then did I speak. Selah.

8 Is his mercy clean gone? Is his promise come utterly to an end for evermore?

8 Has His faithful love ceased forever?Is His promise at an end for all generations?(I)

9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Or, hath he shut up his loving-kindness in displeasure? Selah.

10 At the last, I came to this point, that I thought, "O why art thou so foolish? the righthand of the most highest can change all!"

10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

10 So I say, “I am grieved(a)that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”(K)

10 So I say: "It causes me pain that the right hand of the Most High has changed."

11 Therefore will I remember the works of the LORD, and call to mind thy wonders of old time.

11 I shall remember the (U)deeds of (i)the Lord;Surely I will (V)remember Your wonders of old.

11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

11 I will remember the Lord’s works;yes, I will remember Your ancient wonders.(L)

11 I will remember the LORD'S deeds; indeed, I will remember your awesome deeds from long ago.

12 I will speak of all thy works, and my talking shall be of thy doings.

12 I will (W)meditate on all Your workAnd muse on Your deeds.

13 Thy way, O God, is holy: who is so great a God as our God?
