A Description Of The New Jerusalem

²¹ The twelve gates are twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl; and the streets of the City are pure gold, clear as crystal. ²² But I saw no temple in the City, for its temple is the Lord God almighty and the Lamb. ²³ And the City needs no sun or moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God illumines it, and the Lamb lights it up.
