Reconciliation With God Through Faith In Christ
1 Since we stand justified as the result of faith, let us continue to enjoy the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 (A)Therefore, having been justified by faith, (a)(B)we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith,(A) we have peace(a) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.(B)
1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
2 Through him also we have had our access into this grace in which we have taken our stand, and are exulting in hope of the glory of God.
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
2 through whom also we have (C)obtained our introduction by faith into this grace (D)in which we stand; and (b)we exult in hope of the glory of God.

3 And not only so, but we are actually exulting also even in our troubles; for we know that trouble works fortitude,
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
3 (E)And not only this, but (c)we also (F)exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about (G)perseverance;
3 And not only that,(E) but we also rejoice in our afflictions,(F) because we know that affliction produces endurance,(G)
3 Not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
4 and fortitude character, and character, hope??5 a hope which never disappoints us. For through the Holy Spirit who has given to us, the "brimming river of the love of God" has overflowed in our hearts.
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
4 endurance produces character, and character produces hope.
Those Declared Righteous Are Reconciled
5 For while we were still without strength, Christ died in due time for the ungodly.
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
5 and hope (J)does not disappoint, because the love of God has been (K)poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

7 But God gives proof of his love to us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

8 By how much more, then, being now justified in his blood, shall we be saved through him from the wrath of God.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Death Came Through Adam But Life Comes Through Christ
11 Thus, then, sin came into the world through one man, and through sin came death and so death spread to all men, because all had sinned.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

11 Not only that, but we also continue to boast about God through our Lord Jesus the Messiah, through whom we have now been reconciled.
12 For prior to the Law, sin actually existed in the world, but sin was not set down to man's account when there was no law.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

12 Just as sin entered the world through one man, and death resulted from sin, therefore everyone dies, because everyone has sinned.
13 Nevertheless, from Adam to Moses death reigned as king, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression. Now Adam is a type of Him who was to come.
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
13 In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law.(V)
13 Certainly sin was in the world before the Law was given, but no record of sin is kept when there is no Law.
14 But the free gift is not like the transgression; for if through the transgression of that one man the rest on men died, much more did the grace of God and the gift given in his grace in the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow unto the rest of men.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression.(W) He is a prototype(d) of the Coming One.(X)
14 Nevertheless, death ruled from the time of Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the same way Adam did when he disobeyed. He is a foreshadowing of the one who would come.
15 And it is not with the free gift as it was through the one that sinned; for the judgment came from one transgression unto condemnation; but the free gift came from many transgressions unto acquittal.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
15 But (j)the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of (AD)the one (AE)the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by (AF)the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift overflowed to the many by the grace of the one man,(Y) Jesus Christ.
15 But God's free gift is not like Adam's offense. For if many people died as the result of one man's offense, how much more have God's grace and the free gift given through the kindness of one man, Jesus the Messiah, been showered on many people!
16 For if through the transgression of the one, death reigned as king through the one, much more shall those who receive the overflowing grace and gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through One, through Jesus Christ.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
16 The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand (AG)the judgment arose from one transgression (k)resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions (l)resulting in justification.
16 And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment,(Z) resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.(e)
16 Nor can the free gift be compared to what came through the man who sinned. For the sentence that followed one man's offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift brought justification, even after many offenses.
17 It follows then, as through the transgression of one man came condemnation unto all men, even so through the act of righteousness of One came acquittal and life to all men.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

17 Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life(AA) through the one man, Jesus Christ.
17 For if, through one man, death ruled because of that man's offense, how much more will those who receive such overflowing grace and the gift of righteousness rule in life because of one man, Jesus the Messiah!
18 For just as through the disobedience of one man the rest were made sinners; even so by the obedience of One shall all the rest be made righteous.
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
18 So then as through (AJ)one transgression (m)there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one (AK)act of righteousness (n)there resulted (AL)justification of life to all men.
18 So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification(f)(AB) for everyone.
18 Consequently, just as one offense resulted in condemnation for everyone, so one act of righteousness results in justification and life for everyone.
19 Now law was brought in so that transgression might abound; but where sin abounded, grace super-abounded;
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20 in order that as sin has ruled as king in death, so also grace might rule as king in righteousness which issues in eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord,??urs!
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
20 (o)(AQ)The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, (AR)grace abounded all the more,
20 The law came along to multiply the trespass.(AE) But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more(AF)
20 Now the Law crept in so that the offense would increase. But where sin increased, grace increased even more,
