her as a wilderness

and slay

Racham

And I will not have mercy

upon her children

for they be the children

hath played the harlot

them then shall she say

thereof, and my wine

מועדה מעד מועד

Mow`ed

in the season

thereof, and will recover

צמר

Tsemer

פּשׁתּה

Pishteh

and my flax

כּסה

Kacah

גּלה

Galah

And now will I discover

נבלוּת

Nabluwth

עין

`ayin

in the sight

אהב אהב

'ahab

and none

משׂושׂ

Masows

I will also cause all her mirth

and her sabbaths

And I will destroy

Therefore, behold, I will allure

there, as in the days

out of the land

And it shall be at that day

For I will take away

And in that day

and I will break

the bow

and the sword

and the battle

'erets

out of the earth

Shakab

and will make them to lie down

ארשׂ

And I will betroth

עלם עולם

`owlam

thee unto me for ever

ארשׂ

'aras

yea, I will betroth

צדק

Tsedeq

thee unto me in righteousness

,

משׁפּט

Mishpat

and in judgment

,

חסד

Checed

and in lovingkindness

,

ארשׂ

'aras

I will even betroth

אמנה אמוּנה

'emuwnah

thee unto me in faithfulness

ידע

Yada`

and thou shalt know

יום

Yowm

And it shall come to pass in that day

I will hear

Shamayim

and they shall hear

the corn

and the wine

יצהר

Yitshar

and the oil

ענה

and they shall hear

זרע

Zara`

And I will sow

ארץ

'erets

her unto me in the earth

רחם

Racham

and I will have mercy

רחם

Racham

upon her that had not obtained mercy

and I will say

עם

`am

to them which were not my people

עם

`am

Thou art my people

and they shall say
