'Birds of the Air' in the Bible
Behold the birds of the air: they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.
And Jesus saith to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown, it is the greatest of herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches of it.
And as he sowed, some fell by the way-side, and the birds of the air came and devoured it.
But when it is sown it groweth up and becometh greater than all herbs, so that the birds of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
and while he sowed, some fell by the way-side; and it was trodden down, and the birds of the air devoured it.
But Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests: but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
It is like a grain of mustard-seed which a man took and cast into his garden; and it grew and became a great tree, and the birds of the air lodged in the branches of it.
