'Burning Coals' in the Bible
And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
“Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he shall take up the censers out of the midst of the blaze, for they are holy; and you scatter the burning coals abroad.
Then Moses said to Aaron, "Take the censer, put burning coals from the altar in it, place incense on it, and go quickly into the assembly and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from the Lord -- the plague has begun!"
Smoke went up from his nostrils and fire from his mouth. Burning coals devoured, they burned from him.
From the brightness before him flamed burning coals of fire.
Upon the wicked (godless) He will rain coals of fire;Fire and brimstone and a dreadful scorching wind will be the portion of their cup [of doom].
Smoke went forth from his nose, and fire from his mouth consumed. Burning coals blazed from him.
Sharp arrows of a mighty one, with burning coals of broom-wood.

If a man shall go upon burning coals shall his feet not be burnt?
