'First and the Last' in the Bible

saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last; and, What thou seest write in a book, and send it to the seven churches in Asia, to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

I am the first and the last, who live, though I was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death.

And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead and is alive;

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
