Matthew 26:17-25 - Jesus' Final Passover With The Disciples

Matthew 26:17-25

17 The first day of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus. They asked: Where do you wish to eat the Passover?

18 Jesus told them to go into the city and tell a certain man: The Teacher's time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples. 19 The disciples did as Jesus told them, to get ready for the Passover. 20 When evening arrived, he sat down to eat with the twelve disciples. 21 While they ate, he said: One of you will betray me.

22 They were filled with sorrow, and each one asked him: Is it I, Lord?

23 He answered: He who dips his hand with me in the dish is the same one who will betray me. 24 It is written that the Son of man will depart. The man who betrays him will experience much grief. It would have been better if that man had not been born.

25 Judas, the man who betrayed him, asked: Is it I, Rabbi? Jesus replied: You said it.

Mark 14:12-21

12 Now it was the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover. His disciples said to him: Where do you want to go to prepare to eat the Passover?

13 He sent two of his disciples into the city. He said: Meet a man bearing a pitcher of water and follow him. 14 Where he leads you say to the master of the house: The Teacher says where is my guest-chamber? Where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples? 15 He will show you a large upper room. It is furnished and ready. Prepare it for us. 16 The disciples went to the city and found everything as he described and they prepared for the Passover.

17 When it was evening he came with the twelve. 18 While they sat and ate Jesus said: Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me, even he that eats with me.

19 They were sorrowful and said to him one by one: Is it I?

20 He said to them: It is one of the twelve, he that dips with me in the dish. 21 The Son of man goes even as it is written of him. Woe to that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better if he had not been born.

Luke 22:7-13

7 The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed. 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying: Go make everything ready that we may eat the Passover.

9 They asked him: Where do you want us to get ready?

10 He said: When you enter the city a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house. 11 Say to the master of the house: The teacher says; 'where is the guest chamber where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples?' 12 He will show you a large furnished upper room. Make it ready.

13 They found things as he described them and they made things ready for the Passover.
