Matthew 24:3-8 - Signs Of The End Of The Age

³ And, while He was sitting on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us when shall these things be, and what is the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the age."

⁴ And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Take heed that no one lead you astray; ⁵ for many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray. ⁶ And ye will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled, for these things must come to pass; but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ⁸ But all these are a beginning of travail.

³ And, as He was sitting upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately, ⁴ "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what is the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?"

⁵ And Jesus began to say to them, "Take heed, lest some one lead you astray. ⁶ Many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He', and will lead many astray. ⁷ And, when ye hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled; these things must come to pass; but the end is not yet. ⁸ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; and there will be famines: these are the beginning of anguish.

⁷ And they asked Him, saying, "Teacher, when, therefore, will these things be, and what is the sign, when all these things are about to come to pass?"

⁸ And He said, "Take heed that ye be not led astray; for many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The season has drawn near!' Go not after them. ⁹ And, when ye hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not straight-way."

¹⁰ Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; ¹¹ and there will be great earthquakes, and, in various places, famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
