Matthew 24:3-8 - Signs Of The End Of The Age
3 And when He was got to the mount of olives, the disciples came to Him in private and said, Tell us when these things shall be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world.
4 And Jesus answered them, See that no one deceive you: 5 for many shall come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, but be not troubled; for all these must indeed come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in several places: 8 all which are but the beginning of sorrows.
3 And as He was sitting on the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately, 4 saying, Tell us when these things shall be, and what shall be the sign when all these things are to be accomplished.
5 But Jesus answered them and said, Beware least any one deceive you: 6 for many shall come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye hear of wars, and rumors of wars, be not troubled; for such things must happen; but the end will not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and famines and troubles: these will be the beginnings of sorrows.
7 And they asked Him, saying, Master, when shall these things be? And what will be the sign when these things shall come to pass?
8 And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived; for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and the time is near: but do not therefore go after them. 9 And when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these must first happen; but the end will not be directly.
10 Then said He unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; 11 and there will be great earthquakes in several places, and famines, and pestilences, and fearful sights and great prodigies from heaven.
