Easton
height, a town of Moab, or simply, the height=the citadel, some fortress so called; or perhaps a general name for the highlands of Moab, as some think (Jer 48:1). In Isa 25:12, the word is rendered "high fort."

Mentioned along with Nebo and Kiriathaim in the oracle against Moab (Jer 48:1). Perhaps it is not intended as a proper name. The same Heb. term occurs in Isa 25:12, where both AV and RV tr 'high fort' (cf. 2Sa 22:3; Ps 9:9 bis Ps 18:2; 6/7'>46:7,11; 48:3; 59:9,6'>16-17; 62/2'>62:2,6; 94:22; 144:2; Isa 33:16.
