If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen or obey his father or his mother when they chastise him, His father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.

Samuel said: What is more pleasing to Jehovah, burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Obeying is better than sacrifice. To pay attention is better than the fat of rams.
