While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came and knelt before him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live."

"No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; if he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, and the tear is made worse.

And he saw the disciples straining at the oars, for the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. He was about to pass by them,

"And when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of pieces did you take up?" And they said, "Seven."

And from his fullness have we all received, grace upon grace.

Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness mean!

For in him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and you have been made complete in him, who is the head over all rule and authority.
