And if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire.

And much people came unto him, having with them halt, blind, dumb, maimed, and other many: and cast them down at Jesus' feet. And he healed them,

insomuch that the people wondered, to see the dumb speak, the maimed whole; and the halt to go, the blind to see. And they glorified the God of Israel.
