And he was there in the wilderness forty days, to be tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.

And he called them to him, and spoke to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?

And if "Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he can not stand, but has an end.

These are they that received seed by the wayside, where the word is sown; and when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
