then he closed the book, and returning it to the minister, he sat down: and as the eyes of the whole synagogue were fix'd with attention upon him,

Now the time of his assumption drawing nigh, he was fix'd in his resolution to go to Jerusalem:

but he answered them, go, tell that fox, that to-day and to-morrow I am casting out demons, and performing cures, and the third day my course will be finished:

fix it therefore in your mind, not to think beforehand about your defence.
