That in law dost boast, Through the transgression of the law, art thou dishonouring God?

For, if Abraham by works was declared righteous, he hath whereof to boast; - nevertheless, not towards God, -

Through whom also we have had, our introduction, by our faithinto this favour wherein we stand; and let us boast in hope of the glory of God.

And, not only so, but let us boast also in our tribulations; knowing that, our tribulation, worketh out endurance.

Be not boasting over the branches! Howbeit, if thou boast, it is not, thou, that bearest the root, but the root, thee!
