Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, LORD has helped us to now.

And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even to Gath. And Israel delivered the border of it out of the hand of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amori

And between the passes by which Jonathan sought to go over to the Philistines' garrison, there was a rocky crag on the one side, and a rocky crag on the other side. And the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh

And Saul said, Cast [lots] between me and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken.

Now the Philistines gathered their armies together to battle. And they were gathered together at Socoh, which belongs to Judah, and encamped between Socoh and Azekah, in Ephes-dammim.

And the Philistines stood on the mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on the mountain on the other side, and there was a valley between them.

And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a javelin of brass between his shoulders.

And concerning the matter which thou and I have spoken of, behold, LORD is between thee and me forever.

And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, inasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of LORD, saying, LORD shall be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed, forever. And he arose and departed, and Jonathan went i

LORD judge between me and thee, and LORD avenge me of thee, but my hand shall not be upon thee.

LORD therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thy hand.

Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of the mountain afar off, a great space being between them.
