But the same John had his clothing of camel's hair, and a girdle of leather around his loins, and his food was locusts and wild honey.

and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.

And John was clothed with camel's hair, and had a girdle of leather around his loins, and he ate locusts and wild honey:

And they gave him a piece of broiled fish, and of a honey comb.

And I went to the angel, and said to him: Give me the little book. And he said to me: Take it, and eat it up, and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be in your mouth as sweet as honey.

And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was bitter.
