Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan went out to him,

and confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.

"The land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles

Great crowds followed himfrom Galilee, and from the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

Now when Jesus had finished these sayings, he went away from Galilee and entered the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.

And all the land of Judea, and the people from Jerusalem, went out to him and they were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things he was doing, came to him.

Then he left there and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan. And crowds gathered to him again; and again, as his custom was, he taught them.

And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

This took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

And they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified behold, he is baptizing, and all are going to him."

He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.
