And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth Living Creature calling, "Come!"

The first creature was like a lion, and the second like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man's, and the fourth creature was like an eagle flying.

So I liked, and lo, a pale horse; and he who sat on him was named Death; and Hades was following after him. To them was given authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with famine, and with death, and with the wild beasts of the earth.
