“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves molten gods; I am the Lord your God.

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,
But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
