Zela, Haeleph, and the city of the Jebusites, which is Jerusalem; Gibeah, and Kiriathjearim: Fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin in their kindreds.
And Eleazar the son of Aaron died, whom they buried in Gibeah that pertained to Phinehas his son and was given him in Mount Ephraim.
But his master said unto him, "We will not turn in to a strange city that are not of the children of Israel: we will go forth to Gibeah."

And so all the men of Israel gathered together, unto Gibeah, knit together as it had been but one man.
Now therefore deliver us the men, those wicked wretches of Gibeah that we may slay them, and put away evil from Israel." Neverthelater, the children of Benjamin would not hearken unto the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:
but gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to come out in battle against the children of Israel.
And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time, out of the cities: twenty six thousand men that drew swords, beside the inhabiters of Gibeah which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.
And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin, and put themselves in array against them, to fight against Gibeah.
And the children of Benjamin came out of Gibeah and destroyed in Israel that day twenty two thousand men, and brought them to the earth.

It seemed the children of Benjamin, that the other had been put to the worse. For the men of Israel gave room to Benjamin, because they trusted unto the layers in wait which they had laid against Gibeah.
And the layers in wait hasted and ran upon Gibeah, and went and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.
And they compassed Benjamin about, and chased them to Menuah, and overran them before Gibeah on the east side.
And the men of Kiriathjearim came and set up the ark of the LORD, and brought it unto the house of Abinadab in Gibeah and sanctified Eleazar his son to wait upon the ark of the LORD.
And Saul also went home to Gibeah. And there went with him a host, such as God had touched their hearts.

But Saul tarried in the utmost part of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree, that was in Migron, and the people that were with him were upon a six hundred men.
And the one leaneth northward toward Michmash, and the other southward toward Gibeah.
And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin saw. And behold, the people scattered and ran hither and thither.
And then Samuel departed to Ramah. And Saul went home to his house, to Gibeah of Saul.
And Saul heard of it: for David was known, and also the men that were with him. And as Saul sat in Gibeah under a grove upon a high bank with his spear in his hand and all his men about him,
Then came the Ziphites to Saul, to Gibeah, saying, "David hideth himself fast by us in strongholds that are in a thicket in the hill of Hachilah on the rightside of the wilderness.
After that came the Ziphites unto Saul to Gibeah saying, "David hideth himself in the hill of Hachilah even before the wilderness."
And David did as the LORD commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Gibeah to Gezer.
And they put the Ark of God upon a new cart and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that dwelt at Gibeah. And Uzzah and Ahio the sons of Abinadab drove the new cart.
And when they brought it out of that house of Abinadab that dwelt at Gibeah, with the Ark of God, Ahio went before the ark.
Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, that we may hang them up unto the LORD, in Gibeah of Saul the LORD's elect." And David said, "I will give them you."
