Then the High Priests and Elders of the People assembled in the court of the palace of the High Priest Caiaphas,

So they led Jesus away to the High Priest, and with him there assembled all the High Priests, Elders, and Scribes.

Meanwhile Simon Peter was following Jesus, and so also was another disciple. The latter was known to the High Priest, and went in with Jesus into the court of the High Priest's palace.
