And God said - Let us make man in our image after our likeness - and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the bird of the heavens and over the tame-beast - and over all the land, and over every creeping thing, that creepeth on the land. And God created the man in his own image, In the image of God, created he him, - Male and female, created he, them. And God blessed them, and God said to them Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, - and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the bird of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth on the land.
So then Yahweh God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed in his nostrils the breath of life - and man became a living soul.
Thus, also, it is written - The first man, Adam, became, a living soul, the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

Among your own selves, judge ye, - Is it becoming for a woman, - unveiled, to be praying unto God? Doth not, even nature herself, teach you - that, if, a man, have long hair, it is a dishonour to him; But, if, a woman, have long hair, it is a glory to her, for, her long hair, instead of a veil, hath been given to her. But, if anyone thinketh to be contentious, we, have no such custom, - nor yet the assemblies of God.

And he said, Who told thee that, naked, thou wast? Of the tree whereof I commanded thee not to eat, hast thou eaten? And the man said, - The woman whom thou didst put with me, she, gave me of the tree, so I did eat. Then said Yahweh God to the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent, deceived me, so I did eat. Then said Yahweh God unto the serpent - Because thou hast done this, Accursed, art thou above every tame-beast, and above every wild-beast of the field, - on thy belly, shall thou go, and dust, shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. And enmity, will I put between thee, and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, - He shall crush thy head, but, thou, shalt crush his heel.
