That we speak of is wisdom among them that are perfect - not the wisdom of this world, neither of the rulers of this world, which goeth to nought - but we speak the wisdom of God, which is in secret and lieth hid, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which wisdom none of the rulers of the world knew. He blesseth them, so that they multiply exceedingly, and suffereth not their cattle to decrease. When they are minished and brought low through oppression, through any plague or trouble, though he suffer them to be evil-entreated through tyrants, or let them wander out of the way in the wilderness,
