Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye go, and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the father in my name he should give it you.

Then said he to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the laborers are few: Wherefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into his harvest."

After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them, two and two, before him into every city, and place, whither he himself would come. And he said unto them, "The harvest is great: but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, to send forth laborers into his harvest. Go your ways. Behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

And he that reapeth, receiveth reward; and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: That both he that soweth and he that reapeth might rejoice together. And herein is the saying true, That one soweth; And another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labor. Other men laboured; And ye are entered into their labors."

Then called he the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and that they might heal diseases.

And he called his twelve disciples unto him, and gave them power over all unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sicknesses, and all manner of diseases.

And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven, and in earth.

And he called the twelve, and began to send them, two and two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils, and shall speak with new tongues, and shall kill serpents. And if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

And the seventy returned again with joy saying, Lord, even the very devils are subdued to us through thy name. And he said unto them, "I saw Satan, as it had been lightning, fall down from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents, and scorpions, and over all manner power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

Then Jesus said unto them again, "Peace be with you. As my father sent me, even so send I you."

As thou didst sent me into the world, even so have I sent them into the world;

but ye shall receive power of the holy ghost which shall come on you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Jewry, and in Samaria, and even unto the world's end."

And behold, I will send the promise of my father upon you. But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."

And when he had said that, he breathed on them, and said unto them, "Receive the holy ghost.

And as soon as they had prayed, the place moved where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the holy ghost, and they spake the word of God boldly.

God bearing witness thereto, both with signs and wonders also, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the holy ghost, according to his own will.

Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost; teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you. And lo, I am with you always even until the end of the world."

Then they that gladly received his preaching were baptised; And the same day, there were added unto them about a three thousand souls. And they continued in the Apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayer.

and saying, "Sirs, why do ye this? We are mortal men like unto you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven and earth and the sea and all that in them is,

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, gave us audience: whose heart the Lord opened that she attended unto the things which Paul spake. When she was baptised, and her household, she besought us saying, "If ye think that I believe on the Lord come into my house, and abide there." And she constrained us.

Howbeit, one Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians gave audience and believed, and were baptised.

But how shall they call on him, on whom they believed not? How shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."

For the life appeared: and we have seen, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the father, and appeared unto us. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye may have fellowship with us, and that our fellowship may be with the father, and his son Jesus Christ.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to cure the sick.

Go and preach, saying that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out the devils: Freely ye have received, freely give again.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere. And the Lord wrought with them; And confirmed the word with miracles that followed.

And they went out, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.

But none of those things move me. Neither is my life dear unto myself; that I might fulfill my course with joy, and the ministration which I have received of the Lord Jesus to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

but Philip was found at Azotus. And he walked throughout the country preaching in their cities, till he came to Caesarea.

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit, in the Gospel of his son that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

So have I enforced myself to preach the gospel: not where Christ was named, lest I should have built on another man's foundation,

whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the gentiles:

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on tree. Him hath God lift up with his right hand, to be a ruler and a saviour: for to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are his records as concerning these things: and also the holy ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

And ye are witnesses of these things.

"But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, which is the spirit of truth which proceedeth of the father, he shall testify of me. And ye shall bear witness also, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

For we cannot but speak that which we have seen and heard."

to the intent that now, unto the rulers and powers in heaven, might be known by the congregation the manifold wisdom of God, according to that eternal purpose, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, and be made my disciples.

and see that ye have honest conversation among the gentiles, that they which backbite you as evil doers, may see your good works and praise God in the day of visitation.

And that repentance, and remission of sins, should be preached in his name among all nations. And must begin at Jerusalem.

And this glad tidings of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

And he said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the glad tidings to all creatures:

These twelve did Jesus send, and commanded them, saying, "Go not into the ways that lead to the Gentiles, and in to the cities of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Possess not gold, nor silver, nor brass in your girdles, nor yet scrip towards your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet a staff: for the workman is worthy to have his meat. Into whatsoever city, or town ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till ye go thence.read more.
And when ye come into a house, salute the same. And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it: but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you again. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor will hear your preaching, when ye depart out of that house, or that city, shake off the dust of your feet. Truly I say unto you, it shall be easier for the land of Sodom, and Gomorra, in the day of judgment, than for that city.

And commanded them, that they should take nothing unto their Journey, save a rod only: Neither scrip, neither bread, neither money in their purses: but should be shod with sandals. And that they should not put on two coats. And he said unto them, "Wheresoever ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart thence.read more.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust that is under your feet, for a witness unto them. I say verily unto you, it shall be easier for Sodom and Gomorra, at the day of judgment, than for that city."

And he said to them, "Take no thing to succor you by the way: neither staff, nor scrip, neither bread neither money, neither have two coats. And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet, for a testimony against them."

Bear no wallet, neither scrip, nor shoes, and salute no man by the way. Into whatsoever house ye enter in, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him, if not, it shall return to you again.read more.
And in the same house tarry still, eating and drinking such as they have. For the laborer is worthy of his reward. Go not from house to house: and into whatsoever city ye enter, if they receive you, eat such things as are set before you, and heal the sick that are there, and say unto them, 'The kingdom of God is come nigh upon you.' "But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, if they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, Even the very dust, which cleaveth on us of your city, we wipe off against you: Notwithstanding, mark this, that the kingdom of God was come nigh upon you. Yea and I say unto you: that it shall be easier in that day, for Sodom than for that city.

They which were scattered abroad through the affliction that arose about Stephen, walked throughout till they came unto Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no man, but unto the Jews only.

Howbeit, they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word. Then came Philip into a city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people gave heed unto those things which Philip spake with one accord, in that they heard and saw the miracles which he did.read more.
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed of them. And many taken with palsies, and many that halted, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

When the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard say that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: which, when they were come, prayed for them, that they might receive the holy ghost. For as yet he was come on none of them: But they were baptised only in the name of Christ Jesus.read more.

The Lord said unto him, "Go thy ways: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the gentiles, and kings and the children of Israel:

I speak to you gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the gentiles I will magnify mine office

for this purpose: that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ among the gentiles, and should minister the glad tidings of God, that the gentiles might be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the holy ghost.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, "Of a truth I perceive, that God is not partial: but in all people, he that feareth him and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which when they were come into Antioch, spake unto the Greeks, and preached the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned unto the Lord.

There were at Antioch, in the congregation, certain prophets and teachers: as Barnabas and Symeon called Niger; And Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, Herod the tetrarch's nurse-fellow, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted; The holy ghost said, "Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work whereunto I have called them." Then fasted they and prayed, and put their hands on them, and let them go.

And Paul chose Silas and departed, delivered of the brethren unto the grace of God. And he went through all Syria and Cilicia, establishing the congregations.
