Garment » Of righteousness
I will rejoice greatly in Yahweh; my being shall shout in exultation in my God. For he has clothed me [with] garments of salvation, he has covered me [with the] robe of righteousness, as bridegroom adorns [himself] [with] a head wrap like a priest, and as bride adorns herself [with] her jewelry.
I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire, in order that you may become rich, and white clothing, in order that you may be clothed and the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, and eye salve to smear on your eyes, in order that you may see.
And it has been granted to her that she be dressed in bright, clean fine linen (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).
But [when] the king came in to see the {dinner guests}, he saw a man there not dressed [in] wedding clothes.
And I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed [is] the one who is on the alert and who keeps his clothing, so that he does not walk around naked and they see his shamefulness!)

So I say, "{Oh, that} I had wings like a dove. I would fly away and be at rest.
For we know that if our earthly house, the tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. For indeed, in this [house] we groan, [because we] desire to put on our dwelling from heaven, if indeed, even [after we] have taken [it] off, we will not be found naked. read more.
For indeed we who are in this tent groan, being burdened {for this reason, that} we do not want to be unclothed, but to be clothed, in order that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has prepared us for this very [thing] [is] God, who has given us the down payment, the Spirit. Therefore, [although we are] always confident and know that [while we] are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- for we live by faith, not by sight-- so we are confident and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
