By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Verse ConceptsDistinguishing

For there is no good tree which bringeth forth corrupt fruit, neither a corrupt tree, which bringeth forth good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit; for they do not gather figs from thorns, nor from a bramble do they gather grapes.

Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened except it die, And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat, or of any other corn: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to each of the seeds, its own body.

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
