which shall change into another fashion our vile bodies, that they may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.

It is sown a natural body, and riseth a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body.


And herefore sigh we, desiring to be clothed with our mansion which is from heaven:



I would not, brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are fallen asleep, that ye sorrow not as others do which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died, and rose again: even so them also which sleep by Jesus, will God bring again with him. And this say we unto you in the word of the Lord, that we which live and are remaining in the coming of the Lord, shall not come before they which sleep. read more.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall arise first: then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Where-fore comfort yourselves one another with these words.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and is become the first fruits of them that slept. For by a man came death, and by a man came resurrection of the dead. For as by Adam all die; even so by Christ, shall all be made alive, read more.
and every man in his own order: The first is Christ, then they that are Christ's at his coming.

If ye be then risen again with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the righthand of God. Set your affection on things that are above, and not on things which are on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. read more.
When Christ, which is our life, shall show himself; then shall ye also appear with him in glory.




And this is the witness: how that God hath given unto us eternal life, and this life is in his son.

After this I beheld, and lo a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and people, and tongues, stood before the seat, and before the lamb, clothed with long white garments, and palms in their hands,

And behold, two men talked with him, and they were Moses and Elijah, which appeared gloriously, and spake of his departing, which he should end at Jerusalem.







He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill: to set them among princes, and to inherit them with the seat of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the round world upon them.



The wise shall have honour in possession, but shame is the promotion that fools shall have.






Whosoever will save his life, shall lose it. And whosoever shall lose his life, for my sake, the same shall save it.


For we which live, are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might appear in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, and life in you.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, which is our life, shall show himself; then shall ye also appear with him in glory.



That which was from the beginning, declare we unto you; which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life. For the life appeared: and we have seen, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the father, and appeared unto us. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had judged him to be loosed: but ye denied the holy and just, and desired a murderer to be given you, and killed the Lord of life whom God hath raised from death, of the which we are witnesses:


so then, as concerning the conversation in time past, lay from you that old man, which is corrupt through the deceivable lusts, and be ye renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on that new man, which after the image of God is shapen in righteousness, and true holiness.

In which things ye walked once, when ye lived in them. But now put ye also away from you all things; wrath, fierceness, maliciousness, cursed speaking, filthy speaking out of your mouths. Lie not one to another, that the old man with his works be put off, and the new put on; which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that made him:
