Faithfulness » Of God
God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Blessed be the LORD, that has given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
That by two immutable things, in that it was impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Therefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may perform the word which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reaches unto the clouds.
[A maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite.] I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. But if you will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhors my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that you break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning fever, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. read more.

And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heavens as iron, and your earth as bronze: And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. And if you walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
