"But as for you, take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, put them in one vessel and make them into bread for yourself; you shall eat it according to the number of the days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days. "Your food which you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; you shall eat it from time to time. "The water you drink shall be the sixth part of a hin by measure; you shall drink it from time to time. read more.
"You shall eat it as a barley cake, having baked it in their sight over human dung." Then the LORD said, "Thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will banish them." But I said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I have never been defiled; for from my youth until now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has any unclean meat ever entered my mouth." Then He said to me, "See, I will give you cow's dung in place of human dung over which you will prepare your bread." Moreover, He said to me, "Son of man, behold, I am going to break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they will eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and drink water by measure and in horror, because bread and water will be scarce; and they will be appalled with one another and waste away in their iniquity.

“For behold, I am commanding,
And I will shake the house of Israel among all nations
As grain is shaken in a sieve,
But not a kernel will fall to the ground.

Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.

My God will cast them away
Because they have not listened to Him;
And they will be wanderers among the nations.

and sold the sons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory,

Also I scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.

The Jews then said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? He is not intending to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks, is He?

One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them.

Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.

I will scatter them among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them until I have annihilated them.”

But Judah will be inhabited forever
And Jerusalem for all generations.

Then the Lord said, “Thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will banish them.”

Therefore, fathers will eat their sons among you, and sons will eat their fathers; for I will execute judgments on you and scatter all your remnant to every wind.

Also I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the lands,

Righteousness belongs to You, O Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those who are nearby and those who are far away in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You.

"Speak a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water in it; Put in it the pieces, Every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; Fill it with choice bones. "Take the choicest of the flock, And also pile wood under the pot. Make it boil vigorously. Also seethe its bones in it."

The word of the Lord came to me a second time saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north.”
