Thy first father sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.



and Adam was not beguiled, but the woman being beguiled hath fallen into transgression:



Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

So when they had broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon,'son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again a second time, Simon,'son of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon,'son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.


And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto the upon the waters.

And Peter answered, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, I will make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his coat about him (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea.


And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall never be unto thee.

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

Simon Peter therefore having a sword drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. Now the servant's name was Malchus.


But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.

Now Peter was sitting without in the court: and a maid came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilaean. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid'saw him, and saith unto them that were there, This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth. read more.
And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man.





And Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us the parable. And he said, Are ye also even yet without understanding?


and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and saith, Thou also wast with the Nazarene, even Jesus. But he denied, saying, I neither know, nor understand what thou sayest: and he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And the maid saw him, and began again to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. read more.
But he again denied it. And after a little while again they that stood by said to Peter, of a truth thou art one of them; for thou art a Galilaean. But he began to curse, and to swear, I know not this man of whom ye speak.


Then answered Peter and said unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee; what then shall we have?


Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.


And straightway they left the nets, and followed him.
