But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who would betray him.


Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek you?

And it came to pass, that, while they discussed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.


That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.


And they said one to another, Did not our hearts burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?




And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Israel.

And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

And the LORD called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tabernacle of meeting, saying,


But Jeroboam sent an ambush to come around behind them: so they were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them.

But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it; lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God.

Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' party arose, and contended, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
