While he yet talked to the multitude, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not confer with flesh and blood: Neither did I go up to Jerusalem, to them that were apostles before me, but I immediately went into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus. read more.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles I saw none, save James, the brother of the Lord. For before certain men came from James, he ate with the Gentiles; but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those of the circumcision.
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.
