Jesus saith to them, Have ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, is become the head of the corner? This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes.

And have ye not read this scripture? The stone which the builders rejected, is become the head of the corner?

And hearing it they said, God forbid. And he looked on them and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, this is become the head of the corner?

This is the stone which was set at nought by you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

According to the grace of God given to me, as a wise master-builder I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon; but let every one take heed how he buildeth thereon. For other foundation can no man lay, than what is laid, which is Jesus Christ: And if any one build on this foundation, gold, silver, costly stones; wood, hay, stubble, Every one's work shall be made manifest;read more.
for the day shall declare it: for it is revealed by fire; yea the fire shall try every one's work, of what sort it is. If any one's work which he hath built thereon shall remain, he shall receive a reward. If any one's work shall be burnt, he shall suffer loss, but himself shall be saved, yet so as through the fire.

For this person was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he that hath builded it hath more honour than the house.

Therefore to you who believe, he is precious: but to them who believe not, The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.

Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brethren, James and Joses and Simon and Judas?

And he tarried many days in Joppa, with one Simon, a tanner.

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said to the centurion, Go thy way, and as thou hast believed, be it to thee. And his servant was healed in that hour.

Now when he had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. And hearing of Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, beseeching him to come and heal his servant.read more.

And the soldiers likewise asked him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said to them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your pay.

And there was a certain man in Cesarea, named Cornelius, a centurion of that called the Italian band, A devout man, and fearing God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. He saw plainly in a vision, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of the Lord coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius.read more.
And looking stedfastly on him, and being affrighted, he said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Thy prayers and thy alms are come up for a memorial before God. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith to him, See thou tell no man, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.

Verily, verily I say to you, he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door, is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the door-keeper openeth, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

And there were in the same country shepherds, lying out in the field, and keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo an angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid. And the angel said to them, Fear not; for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.read more.
For to you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign to you; ye shall find the babe, wrapped in swaddling-clothes, lying in a manger. But he that entereth in by the door, is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the door-keeper openeth, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he hath led forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

And he spake many things to them in parables, saying, Behold a sower went forth to sow. And while he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them. Others fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and they sprung up immediately, because they had not depth of earth.read more.
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had not root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up and choked them. And others fell on good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty. He that hath ears to hear let him hear.

The husbandman, that laboureth first, must be partaker of the fruits.

Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath patience for it, till he receive the early and the latter rain.

Which when it was full, they drew to the shore, and sitting down, gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
