You yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. While men are saying "Peace and safety," then, like birth-pangs upon a woman with child, destruction will come upon them suddenly. In no wise will they escape.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and the sea is no more. And I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, crying. "Behold, God's tent is with men, And he will tent with them, And they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them, read more.
And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, Nor will there be mourning, Nor crying, nor pain any more. Because the first things have passed away." And He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and genuine."



Tell me, you who wish to be subject to the Law, why do you not listen to the Law? For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and one by the free woman; but while the son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, the son by the free woman was born in fulfilment of a promise. read more.
Now all this is an allegory, for these women are the two covenants; one from Mount Sinai, which is Hagar bearing children into bondage (for the word Hagar stands for Mt. Sinai in Arabia and represents the present Jerusalem who with her children is in bondage.) But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

Any one who set at naught the law of Moses was put to death without pity, on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
