Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear between your brothers, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the sojourner who is with him. Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. Thou shall not respect the person of the poor man, nor honor the person of the mighty man, but thou shall judge thy neighbor in righteousness.
And he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, Consider what ye do. For ye judge not for man, but for LORD, and [he is] with you in the judgment. Now therefore let the fear of LORD be upon you. Take heed and do it. For there is no iniquity with LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.
