And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, LORD appeared to Abram, and said to him, I am God Almighty, walk before me, and be thou perfect.
And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters. And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.
These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

The breaker has gone up before them. They have broken forth and passed on to the gate, and have gone out there. And their king has passed on before them, and LORD at the head of them.
And LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night.
Behold, I send a [heavenly] agent before thee, to keep thee by the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Yet in this thing ye did not believe LORD your God, who went before you in the way, to seek out a place for you to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in the cloud by day.
And thou shall remember all the way which LORD thy God has led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou would keep his commandments, or not.
Moreover in a pillar of cloud thou led them by day, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light in the way in which they should go. Thou also came down upon mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and TRUE laws, good statutes and commandments, and made known to them thy holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses thy servant.read more.
