But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and its flower falls, and the beauty of the appearance of it perishes: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

You carry them away as with a flood; they are like a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up. In the morning it flourishes, and grows up; in the evening it is cut down, and withers.

But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Verse ConceptsThe SunPeople WitheredScorching
