But Jesus was silent. And the chief priest answering, said to him, I adjure you, by the living God, to tell me if you are the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus said to him, As you say; but I tell you that hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming on the clouds of heaven. Then the chief priest rent his clothes, saying, He has blasphemed; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy.

And he was silent, and answered nothing. Again the chief priest asked him, and said to him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am; and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming with the clouds of heaven. And the high priest rent his clothes, and said, What further need have we of witnesses? read more.
You have heard the blasphemy; what do you think? And they all condemned him to be deserving of death.

If you are the Christ, tell us? And he said to them, If I tell you you will not believe; and if I ask you will not answer. But from this time the Son of man will sit on the right hand of the power of God. read more.
And they all said, Are you the Son of God then? And he said to them, I am as you say. And they said, What further need have we of testimony? for we ourselves have heard from his mouth.

Then Pilate went into the Praetorium and called Jesus, and said to him, Are you the king of the Jews? Verse ConceptsJews, TheRoyal HousesChrist Is King Of Israel

And they accused him, saying, We have found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding to pay tribute to Caesar, saying that he is an anointed king. And Pilate asked him, saying, Are you the king of the Jews? And he answered and said to him, As you say.


And Pilate wrote an inscription and put on the cross. And it was written, JESUS THE NAZORAEAN, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews therefore read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews, but that he said, I am King of the Jews. read more.
