He saith to them, "Come and ye shall see." They came, therefore, and saw where He was abiding, and they abode with Him that day: it was about the tenth hour. Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard it from John, and followed Him. He first finds his own brother Simon, and says to him, "We have found the Messiah," (which, being translated, is Christ). He led him to Jesus. Jesus looking on him, said, "You are Simon, the son of John; you shall be called Cephas," (which is translated Peter). On the morrow, He wished to go forth into Galilee; and He findeth Philip, and saith to him, "Follow Me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
