But he answered them, "He Who made me well, the Same said to me, 'Take up your bed and walk.' They asked him, "Who is the Man That said to you, 'Take up your bed, and walk?'" And he who was healed knew not Who it was; for Jesus withdrew, a multitude being in the place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple. And He said to him, "Behold, you have been made well; sin no more, lest something worse befall you." The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who made him well. And, on this account, the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the sabbath.
